Size Guide - Metini Chains

Choose the chain length based on style, weave width, and whether you plan to wear a pendant.

1) How does the length look on the neck?

A wider weave "takes up" space around the neck and visually shortens the chain. Large pendants also lift the chain from the back – that's why for wider weaves and pendants, we usually choose a longer chain.

2) I'm changing the width — how much should I extend it by?

4–6 mm 7–10 mm ≈ +5 cm (if you want the same "drop point")
4–6 mm 12–15 mm ≈ +5 cm (often sufficient), for a large pendant: +5–7 cm
7–10 mm 12–15 mm ≈ +2–5 cm (depending on physique and pendant)
→ 20–31–42 mm (from any narrower) ≈ +5–7 cm
In short: the wider the weave and the heavier the pendant, the longer the chain you should choose to achieve the same visual effect.

  • Cuban 20–31–42 mm: 65–72 cm (with pendant: 70–75 cm)
